Privacy Policy

01 — Introduction

Who We Are

Atlasiant is a technology holding company building advanced intelligence and media platforms. Our website, atlasiant.com, serves as a public-facing showcase of our products and capabilities.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the rights you have over your information. We are committed to transparency and to complying with applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at contact@atlasiant.com.

02 — Data Collection

Information We Collect

We collect very limited data and only with your explicit consent where required by law.

  • Usage data (analytics): If you consent, we collect anonymised information about how you interact with our website — such as pages visited, session duration, and general geographic region — via Google Analytics 4. This data does not identify you personally.
  • Contact information: If you contact us directly by email at contact@atlasiant.com, we will receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.
  • No account creation: We do not offer user accounts. We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or any personal data as part of standard site browsing.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

03 — Analytics

Google Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our website. This service is activated only after you give explicit consent through our cookie consent prompt.

If you decline cookies, no analytics scripts are loaded and no tracking cookies are set. Your visit remains entirely anonymous.

When analytics is enabled, the following cookies may be set by Google:

Cookie Purpose Duration Provider
_ga Distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier 2 years Google
_ga_* Maintains session state (Google Analytics 4 measurement ID-specific) 2 years Google

We also store your consent preference in your browser's localStorage under the key atl_consent. This is not a cookie and contains no personal data — it simply records whether you accepted or declined analytics so we do not ask again on every visit.

04 — Legal Basis

How We Use Your Data & Legal Basis

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Analytics data is processed solely on the basis of your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent. You may withdraw consent at any time (see below).
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): When you email us, we process your contact data to respond to your enquiry. Our legitimate interest is maintaining communication with people who reach out to us.

05 — Your Rights

Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure Request deletion of your personal data where we have no legitimate reason to continue processing it.
  • Restriction Ask us to restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Portability Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Object Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Withdrawing consent: You may withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clicking the "Withdraw Analytics Consent" button on our Cookie Policy page, or by clearing the atl_consent item from your browser's localStorage and reloading the page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Right to complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In the EU, contact the data protection authority in your member state.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@atlasiant.com.

06 — Retention

Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods:

  • Analytics data: Retained in Google Analytics for 14 months (Google's default retention period), after which it is automatically deleted. You can view or adjust this setting by visiting Google's data retention documentation.
  • Email correspondence: We retain emails for as long as necessary to address your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions. We do not store email data in any external CRM or database.
  • Consent records: The atl_consent localStorage item persists in your browser until you clear it. We do not store a server-side record of your consent choice.

07 — Third Parties

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services on this website:

  • Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager — Used for website usage analytics (only with your consent). Google processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can learn more at Google's Privacy Policy and opt out globally using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Google Fonts — Used to load typefaces (IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono). Font files are requested from Google's servers, which may log your IP address. See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.

We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or any other third-party data collection services beyond those listed above.

08 — International Transfers

International Data Transfers

If you are located in the EEA or UK, please be aware that Google LLC (the provider of Google Analytics) is based in the United States. Data processed by Google Analytics may therefore be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States or other countries outside the EEA/UK.

Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a lawful transfer mechanism. For more details, see Google's data transfer documentation.

09 — Changes

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Atlasiant website after changes are posted constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy.

For material changes that affect how we use your personal data, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by displaying a notice on the website.
